O&G won a HOBI Award in 2015—Spirit of Boston luxury yacht

Entertainment Cruises’ Spirit of Boston luxury yacht embarked on an ambitious $2.5 million ship transformation in January 2015. On a mission to deliver all-weather solutions to match the ship’s seasonal offerings, Cooley Marine Management performed as the contractor of the Spirit of Boston renovation project. Seeking a one-stop solution for lavish stone materials, Cooley partnered with O&G, one of the Northeast’s leading providers of earth-based construction services and products. Cooley worked closely with O&G’s masonry division and fabrication experts, counting on O&G for natural stone products, custom stone fabrication, and onsite knowhow for the new stone structures.

Target Market
Guests and customers of the luxury yacht Spirit of Boston enjoy three floors of entertaining space and an outdoor deck; all areas feature O&G’s custom bar countertops, shelving, back bars, soffits, and vanities.

Results
Re-launching in June 2015, the all-new Spirit of Boston boasts extensive structural and experiential upgrades, epitomized by its remodeled, high-end bar areas made possible by O&G.
