The first part of achieving a high quality and durable natural stone landscape relates to the correct selection of the stone. It might be beautiful but is it fit for purpose? This presentation gives a run down of the relevant standards against which natural stone should be selected. It highlights the tests that need to be done and how they are relevant to the stone in use. Get the right stone and it should last a lifetime, select the wrong one and regret it for a lifetime.
