A Family Owned Company
The Gold Standard
Since its inception in 1923, O&G Industries, Inc. has grown to become one of the most diversified construction companies in the Northeast and one of the largest suppliers of masonry products and services in New England. Headquartered in Connecticut, the masonry division’s facilities include:
- Seven mason stores and stone yards,
- Six Earth Products Showcase retail showrooms, and a
- Fabrication and Distribution Center for custom stonework.
O&G’s experienced sales representatives consult with design professionals and homeowners alike where projects range from residential to commercial. Customers are guided through the widest selection of earth-based materials available to meet design specifications and budgets.
In 1923 partners Andrew Oneglia and Flaviano Gervasini set out to build a small business based on the simple principles of integrity, hard work, and excellence in craftsmanship. They defined a company culture deeply rooted in a commitment to family values.
Experiencing a lack of product presentation while shopping throughout the state, Bob Oneglia, (son of George Oneglia and grandson of the founder Andrew Oneglia) conceived the Earth Products Showcase concept and opened the first showroom in Bridgeport. Demanding the best in product selection and customer service was Bob’s vision. That vision is carried out by his daughter Kara Oneglia, and remains the culture at our six Connecticut showrooms.
Distinctive commercial projects, like the historic reproduction stonework done for the Yale Repertory Theater’s renovation (above), highlight the Masonry Division’s custom capabilities.
O&G Named Top 100 Green Building Contractor from Engineering News Report (ENR). O&G holds the distinction of being the only Connecticut-based contactor to make the 2016 list while ranking in the 76th position. To date, O&G has completed more than two million square feet of building space that meets or exceeds LEED certified or Connecticut High Performance Building standards and includes four LEED Gold projects. This is the second consecutive year that O&G has made ENR’s Top 100 Green Building Contractor list.
In the 1950s a separate Masonry Division was established, built on a foundation of exceptional service and industry expertise.
O&G opened an 89,000 square foot, state-of-the-art stone fabrication facility in Beacon Falls, Connecticut that features the latest generation of stone profiling machinery.

Founded on the principle that giving back means a lot more than just writing a check, we strive to make a lasting difference through community investments, in-kind donations of goods and services, traditional employee volunteerism, and talent sharing programs. Our employees fill skilled volunteer positions where their expertise is leveraged for the public good.
